The Circuit Riders of Cody, Wyoming...

...bringing the old west to life in drama and music

Sharon, Kate, and Bandit R. Coon at the Tucson Cowboy Music Roundup"Circuit Riders can keep a group of at least 100 students engrossed for nearly an hour in learning about life on the Oregon Trail through their portrayal  of "Sarah: A Pioneer Woman"....Through the arts of drama and music, Circuit Riders make history come alive. They help us realize that real people travelled the Oregon Trail and that they faced their trials and triumphs just as we do today...with a mixture of fortitude and just plain hard work." (Brenda Trippel, Education Coordinator, Washakie Museum, Worland, WY)

"These folks have developed a Western Heritage program that children always enjoy. Their devotion to preserving the music, prose, poetry, and culture of the American West is a labor of love for the genre and comes from the heart. Kate and Sharon strive to bring the ideals embodied in the "Code of the West" to all their programs. It is a pleasure to recommend Kate, Sharon, and the Circuit Riders to anyone wanting a quality Western Heritage Educational Program for any event." (John Payne, President of Home Ranch Hands Chapter/Western Music Association)

Circuit Riders offer a variety of educational programs that bring the West to life for young people. These programs are designed to run for 45 minutes, but are somewhat adjustable.

Sharon and Kate have researched the educational standards and benchmarks established in a number of states and have designed the educational  programs offered  to help  teachers meet those requirements. Please contact  Circuit Riders for a more comprehensive information packet to see how these programs can fit your needs.
